One of the things the three GP practices that are moving to the Wilson Health Centre are most looking forward to is the opportunity to work more closely together and learn from each other. So, when Berkeley Place and Royal Crescent Surgeries began looking to upgrade their phone systems to coincide with the move, it was great to share the experiences of their soon-to-be new neighbours Prestbury Park who had recently introduced a new phone system.
Patients will still continue to speak directly to the team at their own practice. However patients will now be able to benefit from:
- Patient callback – we can hold your place in the queue after you have called us and you will receive a callback instead of waiting on the line
- Integration with your patient records – when you speak to a member of the practice we will have your information to hand, eliminating frustrating delays
- Straightforward access to the services you need – you will have access to select dedicated resources, such as repeat prescription services without queuing with patients who simply want an appointment
In addition, we will be able to more actively and accurately monitor call waiting times and busy periods. With calls to all GP surgeries at a record high, you may still experience some delays contacting us, but hopefully we are taking steps to reduce the frustrations associated with us.
Please remember our websites offer a wealth of information and our e-consult forms are an alternative way to contact us.
