Even with the delays caused by the Covid pandemic, the three Cheltenham practices, Berkeley Place Surgery, Prestbury Park Medical and Royal Crescent Surgery had hoped we would have relocated to the new Wilson Health Centre by now.  Unfortunately, there have been a few stumbling blocks along the way and late Spring 2022 now looks more likely.  As with many similar construction projects supply chain issues and labour shortages for certain roles continue to prove problematic.

However there is light at the end of the tunnel and, although disappointed with the delays, it gives us more time to prepare for our new. Some of the things our staff have told us they are most looking forward to:

• Light, modern and spacious rooms
• Fit for purpose IT and phone equipment
• Spaces that are easy to move around for staff and patients
• A meeting room where everyone can sit down
• Working spaces that are not freezing cold in winter and boiling hot in summer
• The opportunity to work side by side with other practices
